Chardonnay Poached Pears

These are incredibly simple, fast & they fill the house with a luring aroma. Try using rum or champagne in your poaching liquid when you’re not in the mood for Chardonnay. Serve with a jumbo scoop of Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream or Dark Chocolate Gelato. If you really want to knock them out, hollow the bottoms with a spoon after poaching & stuff with Angel Food Cake & fresh raspberries. These may be served cold, room temperature or warm so they can be made the day before. If having a crown this is the perfect desert. Pop a dozen pears in a pan and voila!
